He has been the leader and coordinator of the Sant&#8217;Anna unit in the project <strong>&#8220;Economics of Energy Innovation and System Transition&#8221;<\/strong> (EEIST) funded by the UK\u2019s Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy and the Children\u2019s Investment Fund Foundation. The EEIST project has brought together world-leading university and research institutions from UK, Italy, Brazil, China and India to develop complexity-based modelling solutions to support government decision making around green innovation and green transition.<\/p>\n<p>He has participated to European Commission FP7 project <strong>\u201cImpacts and Risks from Higher-End Scenarios: Strategies for Innovative Solutions\u201d<\/strong> (IMPRESSION); European Commission H2020 project,<strong> \u201cDistributed Global Financial Systems for Society\u201c<\/strong> (DOLFINS); European Commission H2020 project, <strong>\u201cInnovation-Fuelled, Sustainable, Inclusive Economic Growth\u201d<\/strong> (ISIGrowth).<\/p>\n<p>His main research interests include complex system analysis, agent-based computational economics, economic growth, business cycles, innovation and structutral change, climate change and the study of the effects of monetary, fiscal, innovation, industrial and climate-change policies.<\/p>\n<p>His works have been published in PNAS, Nature Climate Change,\u00a0 Journal of the European Economic Association, Journal of Applied Econometrics, Journal of Economic Behavior and Organization, Research Policy, Journal of Financial Stability, Industrial and Corporate Change, Economic Modeling, Ecological Economics, Journal of Evolutionary Economics, Journal of Economic Dynamics and Control, Economic Inquiry, Socio-Economic Review, Environmental Modeling and Software, Technological Forecasting &amp; Social Change, Regional Studies, Macroeconomic Dynamics.<\/p>\n<p>He is research fellow at OFCE, Sciences Po (France) and at the World Inequality Database.
