Alessandro Allegretti
CEO and co-founder of A4G · Aerospace engineer
Former Italian national team bike trial rider and Ironman
Alessandro was born in 1994 in the province of Pesaro and Urbino. In 2003 he received his first trial bike: he wanted to imitate his father’s stunts on a trial motorbike. Two years later he was already competing, and in 2007 he won his first Italian championship.
Bike trial is a precision sport: riders tackle natural and artificial obstacles without putting a foot on the ground, and every touch is a penalty. A competition lasts up to four hours and leaves no room for mistakes. For over fifteen years, until 2022, Alessandro was a member of the Italian national team and competed all over the world, winning 7 Italian titles and 4 Italian Cups.
2019 was his best year. He set a Guinness World Record by landing his bike on a 10 cm cube after a 3.6-metre jump. At the Elite European Championships he reached the start line with a fever and intestinal problems that had begun the night before: he raced anyway and finished second. At the World Championships he won bronze.
In an extreme sport injuries are frequent: the most serious was a facial trauma, after losing consciousness during a training session.
In the same years he graduated in aerospace engineering between Bologna and London. In 2016, while still a student, he founded his first software company, A-Squared. Back in Italy, he joined Pirelli in Milan as a product engineer. At 29 he became manager for the Nordics area, then moved to marketing with worldwide responsibility for winter products. For years he pursued the national team, his career at Pirelli and the startup at the same time, without giving up friends and social life.
In 2024, eight years after founding it, he chose his own company: he left Pirelli and merged A-Squared with Nexsystem. The result was A4G, which develops digital twins, simulation and artificial intelligence for the manufacturing industry, and of which he is CEO and co-founder.
After ending his competitive career in trial, he moved on to endurance racing: a half Ironman in 2024 and a full Ironman in 2025 (3.8 km swim, 180 km bike, 42 km run). He holds a skydiving licence and a scuba diving licence, because every year he sets himself at least one challenge outside his comfort zone.
Today he brings to companies what he has learned in twenty years of dual career: planning with method, deciding when mistakes are costly, reacting to the unexpected. He talks about sport as an entrepreneur, because he applies the same principles every day in leading A4G.
