Giovanni Soldini is an ocean sailor with over thirty years of experience in offshore racing, both solo and as part of a crew. Throughout his career, he has achieved major international victories, including winning the solo round-the-world stage race Around Alone in 1999 aboard Fila, and has set numerous ocean racing records.
He has competed in more than 40 ocean crossings, demonstrating the ability to navigate complex conditions, develop innovative solutions and manage unexpected challenges in highly demanding environments.
A longstanding advocate of technological innovation and marine conservation, in 2022 he converted Maserati Multi70 into the first fully electric racing boat, combining sporting activities with the collection of ocean data to support scientific research.
From 2024 to 2026, he served as Team Principal of the Ferrari Hypersail sports project.
